In partnership with Visa for their World Cup sponsorship, we set out to capture the world's passion for football through the eyes of fans around the globe.
So we took a modest production budget, and gave it away- handing it over to filmmakers and musicians from each of the competing nations. We challenged them to create a 90 second music video that showcased their country's love of football, set to a localized version of the anthemic Brazilian song "Samba De Bahia."
What we got back was nothing short of amazing. 32 films that told each country’s love affair with the sport, showcasing their history, rituals, and passion. The films were presented in an interactive website, allowing visitors to seamlessly explore all the different facets of the world’s #1 obsession.
